The Agricultural Technologist assigned to the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist provides technical assistance and support in the implementation of agricultural programs and services. The position focuses on improving agricultural productivity, assisting farmers, and supporting the municipality’s agricultural development initiatives through analysis, communication, and effective service delivery.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related fields.
- Must possess relevant RA 1080 eligibility.
- Must demonstrate analytical skills in assessing agricultural data and field conditions.
- Must have strong communication skills for coordination with stakeholders and beneficiaries.
- Must be capable of performance management and service-oriented work.
- Must demonstrate a customer service–oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support in the implementation of agricultural programs and projects.
- Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and documenting agricultural activities and performance.
- Communicate effectively with farmers, stakeholders, and partner agencies regarding agricultural initiatives.
- Support the delivery of agricultural services to ensure responsiveness to community needs.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist.
